The City of Ryde is a dynamic and commercially strong local government area only 12 klms from the Sydney CBD. Right now, we have an exciting opportunity for a strategic thinking industry professional to lead and manage our Technology Department.
Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services, the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) plays a key role in the success of the organisation by ensuring we are at the forefront of technology developments that can improve organisational capability and service delivery effectiveness.
Using your blend of leadership and management expertise, innovative, solutions focused thinking, and deep technical knowledge, you will lead your Department in analysing, developing and recommending action regarding initiatives such as e-business, cloud computing solutions, best fit hardware and application platforms and Information & Records Management systems.
Your personal style will be professional and engaging and will enable you to communicate complex technology issues in clear and easily understood language to a wide range of stakeholders including, the Executive Team, Department Managers, Councillors and industry professionals.
